Configuring a Virtual Display for the Second vGPU
In some vGPU environments, only one monitor is detected by default. To enable the second vGPU output to work correctly, create a virtual display for the second graphics card. ## Steps ### 1. Download the Tool Download the required package: [setedid.zip](https://pxy-showdoc.oss-cn-beijing.aliyuncs.com/setedid.zip) ### 2. Run the Utility Extract the package and run `edid.exe`. This tool creates a virtual display so that the second vGPU output can be recognized by the system. ### 3. Add the Utility to Startup The default display configuration may be restored after the machine restarts. To make sure the virtual display is created automatically after every boot, place a shortcut to `edid.exe` in the following Startup folder: ```text C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\StartUp ``` ## Notes - This issue is related to display detection in a vGPU environment, not necessarily to a physical GPU hardware fault. - If the second display is still not recognized after startup, confirm that the shortcut was added to the correct Startup folder and that `edid.exe` runs successfully after login.
