Code 103

The `code103` error usually indicates that, in direct connection mode, the web client cannot communicate with TCP port `10002` on the render node.

## Cause

In direct connection mode, the client must be able to reach TCP port `10002` on the render node. If that port is blocked, the public IP is incorrect, or the deployment mode is not appropriate for the network topology, the session may fail with `code103`.

| Intranet deployment | Check whether the firewall is disabled or whether TCP port `10002` is allowed through the firewall. |

| Public network deployment where the render node does not have a public IP address, but is on the same LAN as the primary node and can communicate over TCP port `10002` | Set the management server to proxy mode and configure the render server local IP as its intranet IP address. ## Recommended Checks

1. Confirm whether the current deployment is using direct connection mode.
2. Verify whether TCP port `10002` on the render node is reachable from the client side.
3. Check whether the configured public IP or intranet IP is correct for the current deployment scenario.
4. If the render node does not have a public IP, consider using proxy mode instead of direct connection mode.

## Notes

- Direct connection mode depends on correct network reachability between the client and the render node.
- If port `10002` cannot be reached reliably from the client network, proxy mode is usually the safer configuration.
- Keep the configured render-node IP consistent with the actual network path used by the deployment.
