Tesla GPU GRID Driver and License Requirements

Tesla-series GPUs require the correct NVIDIA GRID driver and, in some environments, a valid license before they can be used properly for cloud deployment.

## Cloud Platform Guidance

| Cloud Provider | Guidance |
|---|---|
| Alibaba Cloud | Alibaba Cloud can directly create instances from images that already include NVIDIA GRID driver authorization. During deployment, select an image or marketplace solution that explicitly includes GRID driver support. |
| AWS | When launching an EC2 instance, choose an instance family that includes supported GPU resources and the appropriate licensed driver path. Common options include `G5` (A10), `G4dn` (T4), and `G3` (M60). Confirm in the AWS Marketplace or image description that the selected image includes NVIDIA GRID driver authorization or supports the required licensing model. |
| Tencent Cloud | Verify whether the selected GPU instance image includes the required GRID driver support. If the image does not provide the required driver or license capability, additional manual configuration or a different image may be required. |
| Huawei Cloud | Huawei Cloud deployments typically require NVIDIA GRID license authorization through an approved NVIDIA partner or agent. Before deployment, confirm the license acquisition method, purchase path, and usage instructions for the selected GPU instance. |

## Deployment Notes

- Confirm whether the cloud image already includes the NVIDIA GRID driver before creating the server.
- Do not assume that all Tesla-class GPU instances include an active GRID license by default.
- Before purchasing, verify the exact GPU model, driver type, and licensing method supported by the cloud vendor.
- If the instance starts successfully but GPU features are unavailable, review the driver installation status and license activation status.
